I was trimming branches on our old apple tree when my dog suddenly grabbed my pant leg and pulled. At first, I thought he was being playful—but his frantic eyes said otherwise. After moving him aside, I climbed the ladder again. Just moments later, the softened ground gave way, and the ladder slid forward. I realized he had sensed the danger before I did. Shaken, I rushed to him, and he greeted me with wagging tail, as if saying, “I tried to warn you.” His instinct and loyalty saved me that day, reminding me that love often speaks without words.
