In the moving twist of events, the Institute of Love in Paws (IAPA) was recently found with the pregnant dog that had been abandoned on its doorstep. Natajυli, as she became known, was nine weeks pregnant and needed help badly.
Without the compassionate volunteers of the IAPA, she was rescued, she was weak, unable to save herself, and overcome by fear.
She was blessed, she warmed the hearts of those who received her help and embarked on her journey of care, support and new beginnings.
Natajυli’s previous father had left her in the dark, driven by fear of his own motherhood. Initially, Natajυli’s fear manifested itself in her protective behavior, as she protected herself and her cubs from the unfamiliar faces of the volunteers.
However, with time and patience, she began to open up and trust what others said to her.
One volunteer recounted the moment he took Natajli and shared: “Look at his face: he can save 13 or 14 precious lives. “We are happy to schedule his tests for tomorrow since he is quite weak.”
Participation grew as volunteers prepared for Natajυli’s ultrasound to ensure a safe delivery. Despite his weak state, Natajυli returned to the shelter under his attentive gaze.
Finally the momentous occasion arrived: Natajυli successfully gave birth to his first baby, a happy boy.
The heartwarming surprise was revealed when Natajυli was given to him, or to a few, but to the surprising number of 14 adorable puppies.
The vision of Natajυli and her 14 babies evoked a mix of emotions in the volunteers, ranging from overwhelming joy to the sense of responsibility that awaited them.
It was followed by a visit to the vet, where Natajυli and her 14 little ones underwent check-ups, ultrasounds and blood tests. His salvation was an absolute priority and the relief was obvious when Natajυli emerged with his face red but strong.
The puppies were exceptional, each of them plump and healthy, testimony to the care and dedication devoted to their well-being.
One volunteer shared his happiness and said, “I almost cried when I saw Natajli’s smile, and her puppies are so adorable; “I can’t help but want to shower them with affection.”
As this exciting journey unfolds, volunteers take on the delightful challenge of naming the 14 little wonders. It extends its invitation to all those who share its story so that it would be known as those who have meaning and resociation.
