I am happy and honored to have a sincere friend. He is made of readiness, trust, respect and courage. He knows no hatred, envy or lies. Always happy, always in favor. He only brings joy and hope in life. He is a dog!
If it were possible to write the story of all the dogs who have loved and been loved by the human race, each dog’s story would resemble all the other stories. It would be a love story!
The pet spent five years chained up, with almost no food or water, without a name, and the only word he understood was “no.”
When you adopt a pet, it is the new family’s duty to provide food and well-being for the animal, but this was not the pleasant situation that Marley lived in for five years.
For a long time, the little dog did not know the meaning of love and affection, and the only word he knew was “no”, which his then owner constantly shouted.
Furthermore, during the long days, months, and years, Marley didn’t even have a name, his water bowl was always very dirty, and his food – what he had – consisted of baby cereal in an old pan.
Marley was still chained up in a tiny, broken-down house, and was beaten whenever he got “too excited.”
Every year, teams from PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) would go to the location to visit Marley and make sure he was being fed properly and treated well, but his owner refused to hand him over to the institution.
After five years, the man finally gave up the dog and handed him over to PETA.
Being happy is not wrong
When he arrived at PETA, Marley was infested with parasites and starved for food and affection. The shelter staff gave him medication and all the attention he needed.
One of the volunteers, Michael Moss, couldn’t resist Marley’s lively spirit.
The pet quickly found a new home. “I really liked his attitude and his spirit, which refused to break,” said Moss.
