In the depths of despair, amid heaps of trash, we found him: an elderly and frail dog discarded like garbage. Wrapped in tattered cloths, his frail body told the story of years of neglect and hardship.
His eyes, clouded by age, seemed to make a silent plea for mercy. We gently rescued him from the trash bin where he had been cruelly abandoned, his emaciated body shivering from the cold.
At the rescue station, a vet examined him, noting his lack of teeth and frail condition. This dog was about 15 years old and bore the scars of a lifetime without love or care. Despite his advanced age and numerous health issues, including a weak heart, we were determined not to give up on him.
