A pit bull named Thor, who was living in complete neglect, has been saved by a police rescue team.
When the team arrived, they discovered Thor confined in a cramped, filthy room, surrounded by his own waste, and deprived of food and water. The room was in such poor condition that some of the waste had grown moldy.
Thor’s health was in a dire state. His skin had multiple wounds, his left eye was missing and infected, and he was severely underweight, resembling a skeleton.
The dog’s owner claimed Thor injured his eye while trying to escape through a gate by hitting it on a nail. The owner also described Thor as aggressive, attempting to justify the deplorable living conditions.
Contrary to the owner’s portrayal, Thor appears to be a gentle dog, showing a calm demeanor despite his hunger and suffering.
This rescue marks the beginning of a new chapter for Thor and other animals saved from similar situations.
