When veterinarians examined the footage of a dog with a distended abdomen, they quickly realized that the poor animal was not pregnant and urgently needed assistance.
The swelling seemed to be caused by a significant amount of fluid accumulation, likely linked to liver or kidney failure. However, the exact cause would only be determined after conducting further tests and scans.
The amount of fluid that had gathered was about 10 liters, leaving the dog visibly thin and in considerable discomfort.
Fortunately, when the fluid was drained, the dog experienced immediate relief and even managed to fall asleep, something she hadn’t been able to do comfortably for a long time.
One of the veterinarians commented, “We’re staying at the clinic to monitor her closely. We’re seeing more and more buckets being filled. I’ll keep everyone updated on her recovery.”
The team decided to name the dog Fufy. Her health is steadily improving and she has started to engage playfully, forming new bonds and leaving her past as a street dog behind.
Fufy’s newfound energy reflects the joy and happiness she now experiences, marking the beginning of a brighter future for her.
