Please don’t leave your pets behind! 
When floods or heavy rains strike, animals are just as scared and vulnerable as we are. They can’t fend for themselves or understand why they’ve been left alone. If you live in a flood-prone area, never leave your pets outside or unattended — bring them with you when you evacuate. Make sure they have food, shelter, and safety. 
Your pets aren’t “just animals” — they’re family, loyal companions who trust you completely. 
Protect them the same way they would protect you.
