Dogs live in the present, not the future, so all he does for now, on his daily walks, is scan for his monks. He misses his monks. But his priority is healing that leg.
Look at that sensitive, intelligent face.
We’ve changed Aloka’s bandage, and his [in.cis.ion] is healing beautifully. The bandage is staying on for now just to [protect] the area while he’s with us.
Aloka spends most of his time out of a cage these days, either hanging out with the representative of the venerable monks or relaxing on a comfy bed next to one of our team members. He’s pictured here with Dr. Alyx Tracy, one of our Criticalists.
He’s such a handsome boy. 
He has officially decided that he is bored at CVRC and would very much like to be discharged 
We’ll make that decision as a team when the time is right. Until then, he’s enjoying daily physical therapy sessions, something he seems to love just as much as the extra attention!

Aloka is recovering very well thanks to the Charleston Veterinary Referral Center team! You’re getting there Aloka, day by day, soon you will be with your beloved monks.
Aloka the Peace Dog you are so loved. Your time will arrive when you are able to rejoin your dear walking friends. Thanks to the CVRC for the wonderful and compassionate care that Aloka has and still receives.
