A group of men spending a calm day by the river sprung into action when they saw a monkey stranded in fast-moving waters.
Instagram user @nomadic_physique published this footage showing the rescue efforts.
He said, “Me and my cousin wanted to chill and shoot some content … we saw a monkey in the middle of the river.”
He said, “Two of us who knew how to swim went inside and rescued” the animal.
The footage shows two men trying to guide the monkey to safety before they eventually carry the monkey toward the river bank.
