That’s why people like mustangs because it resembles freedom and traveling the open road, which is exactly what this sanctuary is providing – a massive 22,450 acres of open land for them to roam and live freely, giving them a second chance at life.
The Wild Animal Sanctuary has purchased 22,450 acres of land in northwest Colorado. That is bigger than Manhattan. This land will be turned into a long-term refuge for wild horses that have been removed from public lands or are at [ri.sk].
The goal is simple. Give these horses space to live freely. No small enclosures. No overcrowding. Just open land where they can move, graze, and exist with less stress.
