In May 2021, Halima Cissé from Mali gave birth to nine babies, setting a world record for the most children born at one time. She delivered five girls and four boys, all of whom survived.The babies were born prematurely and required intensive care. Halima’s pregnancy was natural, and she had previously given birth to twins.
