Celeste, a gentle dog abandoned while pregnant at just two years old, struggled to survive on the streets while caring for her five puppies. Despite starving, she gave everything to keep them warm and healthy through winter. When found, Celeste was emaciated, but her puppies were thriving thanks to her devotion. Taken in by BC SPCA foster mom Elaine, who had just lost her best friend, Celeste found a new home and healing. Now called “Momma,” she lives safe, warm, and loved—far from her painful past.
