Delivering mail had always been a comforting routine for Katie Newhouser—early mornings, familiar streets, and wagging tails that greeted her along the way. The dogs on her route brought her joy, but none like Leo, a silver-coated pit bull with a heart-melting gaze.
Leo belonged to Tina, a kind woman who had raised him from a tiny orphaned pup. Every day, Leo would bound toward Katie’s truck, tail wagging, eager for affection before she could even deliver the mail. Their bond became a daily ritual.
