Now, at 79, the rock legend has turned his lyrics into action, donating $20 million to build “Heaven on Earth,” a 200-acre sanctuary for abandoned and injured dogs near Ann Arbor, Michigan. The ranch will feature veterinary facilities, play zones, and homes for senior dogs. Seger said he was inspired by his late rescue dog, Ranger. “Music gave me everything,” he shared. “Now it’s time to give back to those who can’t ask for help.” A new kind of anthem — written in kindness, not chords.
