The couple are regular visitors to the park, travelling there at least once a year and sometimes as often as four times annually. However, their anniversary trip this past December offered a sight that neither Marius, a seasoned wildlife photographer, nor the online community would soon forget. While driving along a gravel road after failing to spot lions on the main path, they encountered three giraffes emerging from the dense bush. As the third member of the trio came into view, the couple was struck by the sight of strange, wart-like growths covering the animal’s body.
